Gospel Chalk Art – drawing a picture while sharing the Gospel – was one of the first callings on my life. For twelve years I traveled the United States and Mexico speaking and drawing at churches, camps, and special events. Along the way I also sensed God directing me toward filmmaking and pastoral ministry; but gospel chalk art is still a large part of my life.

Here is an photo of a chalk art presentation in Mexico, On this particular night I was drawing and Hermano Hector was preaching – sometimes he or someone else would interpret for me while I preached, but especially with Hector, I would draw and he would preach.
In the US I did the preaching and story telling myself in English and occasionally I did it in my native Pennsylvania Dutch for Amish audiences.
Most of my chalk presentations have two parts, the visible part that I draw in front of a live audience while telling the story, and the invisible hidden picture that is revealed by using a blacklight at the end of the presentation. Below is the Two Ways drawing. The first image shows the picture I draw while speaking and the second image shows the hidden picture that helps underscore the message.

“Enter by the narraw gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow if the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. – Matthew 7:13,14
I am available on a limited basis to come and speak for your church or event. If you are interested please reach out as soon as possible to discuss arrangements. I am one of the pastors at Living Water Fellowship in Denver Colorado but I travel frequently. My wife, Stacie, plays the harp and often accompanies my chalk art presentations with her music.
I do not charge for the presentations, but I am open to a love offering if you want to give something to help with travel expenses.
